Dates, TCG activities, Pokémon GO, merchandise and visitor tips

When and where is the Pokémon 30th Anniversary event?

Changi Festive Village’s Pokémon celebration is listed from 3 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 across Changi Airport and Jewel. Changi’s event page separately says some Jewel activities continue until 31 January 2027, so check the listing for the activity you want before travelling.

The event is organized by Changi Airport, Jewel and The Pokémon Company. PokeGrade is an independent guide and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Read Changi Airport’s announcement.

What is happening at Changi Airport?

Terminal 3: stage, snow shows and meet-and-greets

The PokéXciting! Stage is in the Terminal 3 Departure Hall. Changi lists special stage sessions on 7 and 8 November, followed by daily snow shows from 9 November to 3 January: 7:30pm and 8:30pm, with a 9:30pm show on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Pokémon meet-and-greets are scheduled on selected weekends. Times and characters vary, so check Changi’s latest event schedule.

Pokémon Experience Lounge and TCG

The T3 Pokémon Experience Lounge offers short video-game demos and Pokémon TCG tutorials. Admission is free, but early booking through the Changi App is encouraged because slots are limited. Visitors can also battle using their own Nintendo Switch 2 or play TCG with others; check the listing for activity availability and any session conditions.

Pop-up stores and photo spots

Changi lists official Pokémon pop-up stores at Terminal 3 Basement 2 and Level 2, Terminal 2 Level 2, and Terminal 4 Level 2. Pokémon-themed horticulture displays and Pokégenic photo spots are also spread across all four terminals, including public and transit areas. Check access requirements for each location; not every area is landside.

Opening-weekend activities

On 7 and 8 November, the T3 stage has special Pokémon sessions, while Jewel Forest Valley hosts the parade featuring all 27 first partner Pokémon and two Pikachu. The parade is listed for 3:00pm and 6:00pm; onsite registration is required before entry. The official announcement points visitors to its annex for participation details. Check Changi’s schedule for current registration instructions and capacity before making plans.

What can Pokémon fans do at Jewel?

Explore Forest Valley installations

Jewel’s Forest Valley has four themed areas—Eevee Evolutions, Snorlax, Mewtwo and Pikachu—with more than 30 Pokémon installations described in Changi’s announcement. The current event page says Jewel activities run through 31 January 2027, beyond the main campaign end date of 3 January. Check the individual Jewel listing for the dates of specific displays.

Find the Pokémon TCG display and Quiz Rally

Enlarged Pokémon TCG card displays span Jewel from Basement 1 to Level 5 and feature all 27 first partner Pokémon across nine generations. The Quiz Rally asks visitors to explore the displays and answer questions; completing it lets visitors redeem a limited-edition Pokémon 30th Anniversary postcard at the Basement 1 redemption counter. The announcement does not promise that postcards will remain available throughout the event.

Join the Pokémon GO stamp rally

Spin the PokéStop at T3 Departure Hall for the Singapore stamp and a special PokéXciting! Pikachu encounter with a local background, as described by Changi. Five PokéStops across Changi Airport and Jewel are listed for the cross-location digital stamp rally from 7 November to 8 December. Bring a phone with Pokémon GO installed and check the app and official updates for current stops and availability.

How do the merchandise promotions work?

The event has several different offers. A S$60 single-receipt offer, a S$100 Memory Challenge and the S$600 Changi Rewards promotion are separate mechanics—not one combined promotion. Participating outlets, qualifying spend, redemption steps and stock limits apply.

S$60 single-receipt premiums

A qualifying S$60 spend in one receipt at participating outlets across Changi Airport, Jewel or iShopChangi can unlock the option to purchase selected Pokémon premiums, with some items also redeemable using Changi Rewards points. These are not all free gifts. Changi’s announcement lists:

  • A travel blanket in a bag (S$9.90), insulated tumbler and Pikachu or Eevee anniversary plush (S$18.90 each).
  • Cabin-size luggage (S$52.90) or check-in luggage (S$74.90).
  • A Jewel-only umbrella (S$14.90), in two designs.
  • A Pokémon cap or Poké Ball bag (S$12.90 each), with optional name embroidery and charm personalisation at the T3 Basement 2 station (S$9.90).

The umbrella and personalisation have additional conditions. See the current official promotion terms; all items are subject to availability.

S$100 Pokémon Memory Challenge

Changi lists a S$100 spend threshold to play its Pokémon Memory Challenge for a chance to win Pokémon prizes. Check the official challenge page for the current participation rules and prize availability.

S$600 accumulated spend for Changi Rewards members

The current terms say eligible Changi Rewards members can earn one app perk for each accumulated S$600 of qualifying spend during the promotion period, up to four perks per member. In-store purchases must be recorded by scanning the member card. Each eligible gift redemption includes a Pokémon TCG Fun Pack with three game cards, while stocks last. The announced releases are:

  • 7 November, 10:00am: PokéXciting! Pikachu, 30th Anniversary T-shirt and ecobag bundle.
  • 17 November, 10:00am: Funko Bitty Pop! Pokémon 2026 Advent Calendar.
  • 1 December, 10:00am: Funko Pop! Jumbo Pokémon, with a choice of Charizard, Eevee, Gengar or Pikachu.
  • 15 December, 10:00am: Funko Pop! Premium Pokémon Duo, with a choice of three announced pairs.

Premium selection is subject to stock, and earning a perk does not guarantee a particular item will still be available. The terms also state participants must be at least 18. Read the full Changi Rewards rules before spending to qualify.

Premium designs, release dates, participating outlets and availability can change. Do not spend solely on the assumption that a particular item will still be in stock.

Plan your visit

  • Pick the activity first: Changi’s experiences are spread across Terminals 1–4 and Jewel, not just one event hall.
  • For scheduled sessions, the parade and the T3 Experience Lounge, check booking or onsite registration requirements and arrive with time to spare.
  • Some displays and PokéStops are in transit areas. Confirm you can access the specific location you plan to visit.
  • For purchase offers, review the official terms, eligible outlets, receipt rules and redemption point before buying.
  • Check dates again before travelling. Changi’s event listing distinguishes the main campaign end date from the later end date for some Jewel activities.
